Remember Pool of Radiance? No of course you don’t, but I do… That’s because I’ve been around since PC screens only had two colours and console games did not involve Xbox’s, Wii’s or PS3’s. Times have changed though, and even though I have always remained a gamer, my own children are now giving me a new look into the world of make-believe and animated mayhem that is vastly different to the one I grew up in…

Oh, and um for those of you who don’t know the Pool of Radiance game, check out the in game animation for this 1988 RPG classic in the video above. And don’t panic about the sound, it’s not an audio error – that was the sound games made in those days
